Discussions provide an opportunity for teachers and students to Speak Out. Do remember that you are representing not only yourself, but also your school and country.
Some people say that traveling is our window to the world. You can see how others live, learn about things they like, and even get to meet new friends in the places you visit. Even if traveling within your own country, culture can vary from place to place. So, there is always something new to learn whether you travel domestically or internationally.
Did you know that in Canada they say "pop" and in the southern part of the United States they say "soda?" Even speakers of the same language can have a difference such as this! Traveling is a great way to expand one's horizons in many ways. Where would you like to go?
Use your best writing, no slang. This is not IM, but a discussion. Not every person will be a native English speaker.
Disagree courteously.
Never insult others.
Avoid meaningless comments like "me too" or "I agree", instead add meaningful reasons why!
Please discuss the following questions:
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you travel to and why?
What types of things would you pack for your trip?
What kinds of things would you hope to learn during your visit?
What food would you like to try from the culture you visit?

I would hope to learn from other countries is their cultures. I think other people's culture and tradition is very interesting.
I would travel to countries in Europe, like Germany and Poland. I would travel to these countries because my ancestors were from there. I would hope to learn about the country's history, culture, and customs.
